-I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind Inc. for three years. This included the strict training and raising of puppies from eight weeks old to 18 months. -I have volunteered for the Whatcom Humane .

We had a sweet, older dog when I was young, but in all my family has always been "cat people". So when I got older and had my own pets, I always ended up with cats. It wasn't until my mid-twenties, when I met many amazing dogs, that my love for dogs really blossomed and I began to want one of my own. I've been fortunate to live with and help care for a few of those great dogs over the past several years, but then three years ago I moved to LA. I'm so far away from all my favorite dogs. .
