Hi there - I'm Valerie! I am a Navy wife and I have lived in San Diego for 11 years. I am currently studying for my Veterinary Assistant Certification. My husband and I have a great home with a large fenced yard here in beautiful North Park, close to the Zoo, Balboa Museums and 5 lovely dog parks! My dogs, Jenna and Laddie, love going with me on my 'urban hikes' through our neighborhood along it's many designated canyon trails. My husband and I love animals and have been around dogs all of our lives.

I am 27 years old and live in Normal Heights! I work in the people health care industry, but I am also a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2012. I grew up with Great Danes in the house and would walk my neighbor's dogs for allowance. I worked at the San Diego Zoo for a few years as a teenager and grew a love for all animals. I've been vegan/vegetarian for over 10 years. I would love the opportunity to care for your beloved pet! I was born into a life surrounded by dogs! My house always had large & small dogs, always at the same time and all loved with every bit of my heart. The heart of our family, Sassy our terrier, passed away last year- I have not gotten another dog yet, so this has been the perfect time to care for and be apart of other doggies lives! I've loved animals since I was a kid and grew up taking care of birds, hamsters, iguanas, fish, and dogs. I rescued my first dog 8 years ago! I started using Rover several years ago and am excited to take care of your pet with the same love and attention mine received from other sitters. My gf and I recently moved back to San Diego without a pet. We miss taking care of a lovely creature in our homes.
